Starting September 14, participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwidewill begin serving the Cheese Danish.
The Cheese Danish will only be available for a limited time.
Historically, McDonald’s has been very hesitant to add new baked goods to its menu.

The Golden Arches are clearly more willing to consider new pastries in recent years.
If customer response is positive enough, the Cheese Danish will likely make a comeback as well.
The baked goods were a local success, setting the stage for a nationwide breakfast menu rollout in 1977.
