Losing weight versus losing fat: What’s the difference?

Let’s first address weight loss.

When you step onto a scale, you’ll see how much weight you’ve lost.

You won’t, however, be able to see how much fat you’ve lost.

When you lose weight, you’ve got the option to also lose lean muscle.

That being said, the number you see on the scale may not reflect your overall condition.
