What are carbs?

Complex Carbs
The first pop in of carb you should be aware of is complex carbs.

Refined Carbs
Next, there arerefined carbs.

A whole grain has all these parts intact,” explains Amidor.
“However, a refined grain only includes part of the grainthe starchy partand not the whole grain.”

“It’s recommended that half your carbs recommended should come from whole grain sources.
