Milkshakes are one of the wonderful treats we expect at fast-food restaurants.
Though it was Dairy Queen that served thefirst fast-food milkshakein 1949, after commercial blending machines were invented.
There is not enough milkfat in this mixture so it cannot be considered ice cream.

See, Chick-fil-A takes the bold step of calling its milkshakes, well, milkshakes.
But that implies they are made with real ice cream.
