Pizza is a food category in its own right.
Unfortunately, America’s massive appetite for the popular dish doesn’t always protect pizza shops from financial difficulties.
These woes don’t necessarily mean the chains will go out of business like otherfailed pizza concepts.

Here are four pizza chains that have been on a downward spiral this year.
